Moderate FODMAP Dairy

Is Double cream Moderate FODMAP?

In small portions, yes. Double cream is mostly fat, so about 2 tablespoons is low in lactose. Larger pours move it into the moderate band.

Double cream is around 48% fat and carries much less lactose than milk. Monash rates regular cream low FODMAP at about 2 tablespoons (40g) and moderate from about a quarter cup (63g). A drizzle is usually fine; for bigger quantities, lactose-free cream is the easy swap.
